The Story so far..
An extensive programme of renovation and restoration was undertaken by Faye and Louise at Netherdale House in 2017/18 to create a luxurious exclusive events venue in the Georgian B listed mansion and its grounds.
Guests can enjoy the grandeur of the elegant Drawing room with its fine antiques, large open fire, and stunning sash and case windows with working shutters or relax in the Deveron lounge - a cosy snug with bespoke whisky barrel bar and doors opening to the front lawn, perfect to enjoy a dram whilst watching the sun set on the river below. Both rooms have fantastic views of the river and far reaching views of the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside and the Deveron valley. There is also a Games room with a full size snooker table. All six guest suites have been individually designed, with large walk in showers, luxurious linens and are all located in the West wing, south westerly facing enjoying specular sun sets on the river.
In 2019, the old barn was converted to form a unique space with capacity for 150 seated guests - with whitewashed wooden ceiling, victorian style panelling, wagon wheel and antler lighting, and double oak doors opening to the 'Sitooterie' - a rustic under cover converted stick shed with fire pits and mini highland games kit and fabulous views of the river Deveron sheltered by magnificent mature trees.
In 2020/21, our 'Lock down' project was converting the Coach House to provide an additional 6 bedrooms, comprising a fabulous outdoor entertaining space with Hot tub, Fire Pit and its own wee 'Sitooterie' to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
You will be assured of a very warm welcome from Faye and Louise at Netherdale. We set out to create a friendly relaxed place for our guests to come and enjoy true Scottish hospitality.
