The Story so far..

Faye and Louise, along with their two children Ellie & Ben welcomed their first guests to Netherdale House in 2018 opening as a boutique Bed and Breakfast after an extensive 18 month programme of renovation and restoration. The georgian B listed mansion become home to the family at the of 2016 who continue to live in the East wing today.

Faye's membership of the local Marie Curie Fundraising committee resulted in an idea to convert the old tractor barn into a party space for hosting a dance to raise funds for the charity, after Marie Curie nurses cared for Faye's Mum in her final weeks before losing her battle to leukaemia.

The 'Hooley' hosted its first party when the first ever Marie Curie Spring Fling took place in Spring 2018 - now a much loved annual event in the social calendar.  Granda Grant, Louise's Dad led the work to convert the old tractor barn into a unique space with capacity for 150 seated guests - with whitewashed wooden ceiling, victorian style panelling, wagon wheel and antler lighting, and large oak doors opening to spectacular views of the untouched Deveron Valley.  Since its opening, Granda has converted a former log store into our 'Sitooterie' - a rustic under cover seating area with its own outdoor bar, festoon lighting complete with large patio area and fire pit sheltered by magnificent mature trees.

In the 'Lock Down' period of 2020 - Spring 2021, Faye and Louise set about converting the Coach House, formerly Keepers cottage - refurbished to an extremely high standard and provides self catering accommodation with 6 bedrooms, comprising a fabulous outdoor entertaining space with Hot tub, Fire Pit and its own wee 'Sitooterie' to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

At Netherdale, guests can enjoy the grandeur of the elegant Drawing room with its fine antiques, large open fire, and stunning sash and case windows with working shutters or relax in the Deveron lounge - a cosy snug with bespoke whisky barrel bar and doors opening to the front lawn, perfect to enjoy a dram whilst watching the sun set on the river below.  There is also a Games room with a full size snooker table.  All six guest suites have been individually designed, with large walk in showers, luxurious linens and are all located in the West wing, south westerly facing enjoying specular sun sets on the river.

You will be assured of a very warm welcome from Faye, Louise and their team at Netherdale.
