A reminder of our Seaforth Highlanders
The Highlanders room is sunny and bright, featuring working shutters featuring a double bed with luxurious deep filled pocket sprung mattress with luxury topper, dressing table, 40" LED TV and Tea & Coffee making facilities.
The en-suite shower room features an extra large walk in shower, finished with tongue and groove wooden panelling, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. In addition to standard vanity unit and sink, there is also a fully accessible sink equipped with grab rails and pull cord alarm.
Netherdale House was used as a rest and pre-emarkation camp for allied soldiers during WWII. Our British troops who were based were Seaforth Highlanders. They were here for 2-3yrs.
